Eiji is an illustrator who specializes in paintings of flowers and birds. Eighteen examples are included here. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Eiji draws his picture subjects very accurately and includes more of their surface details than is shown in most other Japanese art. However, he typically excludes their real life backgrounds.
